College Fund for Dreamers

We support promising students by offering assistance with room, board, school supplies, and basic living expenses, as well as providing the guidance they need to succeed in their education.

A 17-year-old from Guatemala traveled alone to Los Angeles, relying on a family member's promise that fell through, leaving her facing food and housing insecurity. With financial aid from Following Francis, she graduated high school with honors and won a tuition scholarship to a local university. She still needs help with room, board, and living expenses. Los Angeles Unified School District counselors recommended her, and we aim to support her through college to help her achieve her dreams.

Aid for Special Needs Children

Aijah.png

We support these most vulnerable children by providing educational assistance, assistive equipment, and necessary supplies. Additionally, we ensure that they receive the nutrition, protection, education, and healthcare they need to survive and thrive.

Currently Annie provides educational support in Anguilla to both the Arijah Foundation and Blanchards Anguilla Children’s Fund. We are helping children with special needs and those who in the past have needed help during Covid and in the aftermath of hurricanes .

Mothers Helping Mothers

IMG_6082.jpg

There is a distinct and perilous position facing single mothers as they try to work, care for children, and provide housing for their families-often while they themselves are recovering from trauma. Providing stabilization through rent assistance, daycare assistance and grocery support can make the difference between homelessness and a new life for single mothers and their children. Many people supporting this program have themselves been single mothers, or the children of single mothers. We provide a direct link to help women in the US and their families toward a more stable life.

Helping Refugee Families Resettle in the USA

We assist families who have legally resettled in the USA with finding housing, covering living expenses, providing career counseling, and offering the support they need to become self-sufficient.

The harrowing scenes of Afghan soldiers and their families fleeing the Taliban in Kabul prompt many to ask, “What can I do to help?” Through US connections, we are offering rental assistance and career counseling to a young soldier, his wife, and their three young children.

“I know you always say you have joy from helping us, but I wanted to call and thank you again for helping us create a home.  To see my daughter be able to eat dinner at a table, hop up on the daybed and do homework,  or put her clothes so lovingly into a chest of drawers for us is more than a dream come true. Thank you!"

Homes for Those Who Help Others

When community members who give back to others face hard times themselves, we provide housing assistance to help them stay in their homes until they can get back on their feet.

Delano Johnson, Executive Director of Bay Area All-N-One, is known for his boundless positivity and dedication to serving others, impacting thousands by distributing food and clothing weekly. Shockingly, we recently learned that Delano himself had been homeless for nearly a year. This campaign aims to secure him a safe home, a bed, and peace of mind.

Please donate if you’re inspired by his story—every dollar goes directly to housing for those in need.

A home for Delano
