WHO
WE ARE
We are high energy people with compassion and our hearts are breaking as we see those that are suffering and struggling. "We are spurred to action to do everything we can to help."
Annie Potts
Founder of The Heart Channels
You may know Annie Potts from one of her iconic rolls like Meemaw in Young Sheldon, Mary Jo Shively in Designing Women, Janine Melnic in Ghostbusters or as the voice of Bo Peep in the Toy Story series. But you may not know how she is pouring her heart out into communities and supporting those in need. She is personally deciding who we will help and how The Heart Channels will help.
When actor Annie Potts was a young girl growing up in a small town in Kentucky, people helped each other. Whether it was giving cash to someone who’d lost their job, or support to a kid in trouble, or sheltering a neighbor whose house burned down. Wherever there was a need people opened their hearts and quietly stepped in to help however they could. Annie started The Heart Channels to continue that legacy in today’s world - where there are so many needs, and where we are one human family, no matter where on the planet we are. The Heart Channels allows us to open our eyes to the needs of others and respond lovingly - and immediately. Neighbor to neighbor, heart to heart. 100% of your donation goes directly to people who need it.
